Home Is Where The Heart Is: A Collection Dedicated To My Favourite County Of Yorkshire
Can you believe it's that time of the year already?! I mean I'm not complaining, I think we could all do with a little festive cheer. And this year do I have a treat for you.. my very first jumpers!!
The main focus of this years collection is my beautiful home county of Yorkshire, with illustrations of Whitby, York, and the Yorkshire Dales transformed into jumpers, prints, cards, and wrapping paper! I hope this jumper can keep you cosy when feeling homesick or lift you up while supporting your favourite place!
So without further ado, here's a look at my new Yorkshire range!!
First up we have Whitby! This iconic coastal town in North Yorkshire has always held a special place in my heart, visiting frequently with my family while growing up I made sure to include everything I could think of in this illustration that reminded me of it. From Magpies fish and chips to the steps up to the abbey there's also the smoked kipper sheds, the pirate ship that takes people on an adventure out of the harbour, the lighthouse, noisy seagulls, the whale bone arch, sculpture of captain cook, and lots more little nuggets every Whitby fan should be familiar with.
Available within the collection I've designed the Whitby art print in sizes A5, A4, A3, A2, and A1 there are also two wrapping papers, and a card.
Next up we have the beautiful city of York! A fab hotspot for my teenage self for all my shopping and night out needs. I included some of the most iconic parts of York including the minster, castle walls and the shambles alongside some of the quirkier aspects of York including the squirrels found running around museum gardens, the infamous Yorkshire pudding wrap, ghost walks, buses, pigeons and some sweet treats from Bettys.
And then we have the Yorkshire Dales! If you've ever visited the dales you'll know the magic it possesses. Such a beautiful, peaceful part of Yorkshire and the perfect spot for a good hike in the fresh air. Included in this artwork I've drawn Ribblehead viaduct, Malham cove, Wensleydale, Jervaulx abbey, Bolton castle, Aysgarth falls, alongside sheep, heather, sheepdogs, tractors, pheasants, flat caps, bees, and James Herriott. Every country girl and boys dream!
Last but not least I designed an extra special Christmas themed print to finish off the collection. Including Whitby, York, and the Dales, this cute snow-globe themed print makes the best Christmas card to share the Yorkshire love with all your loved ones.
